yesterday i had the privilege of making art with 6 amazing kids. The cool confidence and natural curiosity that 5 - 6 year old children have is a blessing...to themselves and to those of us that pay attention. Artmaking with children is such a natural thing to do. "Teaching" art to children is a funny thing because they almost already understand the basic principles...and they are more interested in finding new ways to approach the "lesson"....which is what Art making really is about., pushing the boundaries and discovering new ways to create. I wonder who is inspiring whom during my workshops for kids...
