yesterday the kids and I had so much fun with clay. After sketching out ideas, they got very busy building clay creature heads and adding features...they had no hesitation and seemed alot more confident than they did with any other media. It seemed innate to the children to explore the texture and discover how to form a 3-D image around a base. It was fascinating to watch the intensity.
i am looking forward to junk sculpting next week with these little talented people!
