The 'Big Sculpture' in our studio is taking on a life of its own, while the kids add to it, things fall from it, and we use different colors each week to either lighten it up, or darken it...the kids have learned alot about mixing colors, permanent paints, and brushes from this project. But besides all the valuable art lessons that they are getting from this hands on experience, their already opened minds are opened even more as they change the color and shape of ordinary things like a computer, a nintendo, a barbie doll and a guitar....the possibilities are endless, and part of being an Artist (that same question) is having the ability to see things differently and being able to change things that exist in the world...
